The building in the background this time is called Lavenham Court. Putney, the area where I live, sometimes feels a little, uh, Salem (Amityville? Transylvania?) to me. Creepy old double story buildings with gargoyles on the rooves and vaulted archways above the doors. Streets called Oakhill Road and Cavalry Gardens. Tangled trees and intricate brickwork. High ceilinged apartment blocks that used to be schools. Candelabras flickering in windows behind partially drawn curtains. Very Autumnul, at the moment. Or maybe the whole Halloween thing just really got to me this year
